From a single desk in 1989 to 13 cities on four continents
In 1989, Jerome “Jerry” Morgan opened Mercan Group with a simple idea: immigration should be handled by people who actually show up for their clients. Three decades on, that first desk has grown into a global network centred in Montréal, with offices across Canada, Portugal, Greece and Asia.
Today Mercan works at the intersection of investment immigration, skilled recruitment and hotel development — having helped over 4,100 families obtain Golden Visas and deployed more than €2 billion into branded-hotel projects operated by Hilton, IHG, Marriott and Wyndham. Every residency permit is backed by a real, tangible asset the investor can visit.
